The full name of CMMI is Capability Maturity Model Integration, that is, software Capability Maturity Model integration. It was jointly developed and researched by the United States Department of Defense and the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of Carnegie Mellon University. CMMI represents the most advanced and scientific software engineering management approach in the world. It is an internationally recognized assessment standard for measuring the maturity and standardization of the software development process, and also a capability pass for the software industry to engage in international business.

In China, CMMI certification is one of the powerful manifestations of an enterprise's competitiveness. It indicates that the enterprise's capabilities in product research and development, project management, process management, quantitative management, quality management and other aspects have been recognized by international authoritative institutions. In order to apply for the CMMI certification, Tewei Science and Technology has specially established a project team composed of project managers, designers, requirements, developers, testers and other personnel. Referring to the strict standards of CMMI, the company has carried out a six-month transformation and optimization of the R&D process, forming a series of norms regarding product R&D, quality control and other aspects. Meanwhile, a process management system in line with the characteristics of the company has been established.

On November 2nd, after a week-long on-site review, Tewei Kechuang passed the CMMI Level 3 certification.
